Sacraments

Holy Rosary prepares students for their Sacraments of First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.  The school presents the content necessary for the reception of the sacraments, through sacramental preparation is completed by the students’ home parishes in which the families are registered. The school works with the DREs (Directors of Religious Education) and the pastors to ensure our students are prepared for their sacraments.

Second-grade students prepare for Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion in class, and their practices and retreats are handled by the parish.  This is similar for our students in seventh and eighth grades preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  Confirmation students perform service as part of their preparation.  Please be sure to check your parish bulletins well in advance to learn more information pertaining to each of the sacraments.
