Clubs

 Bowling

Holy Rosary students in 3rd grade through 8th grade may participate in an after-school bowling club at Facenda Whitaker Lanes in East Norriton. The students are transported to the bowling alley by bus where they enjoy two hours of bowling once a week. Two ten-week sessions are offered during the school year.
 

Lego & Puzzle Club

Students in grades Pre-K to 4 flex their fine motor skills and social skills in the Lego and Puzzle Club. The club is held after school, and for one hour the children have thousands of Legos to free-play and build with their friends. Imaginations run wild as students build homes, cities, a variety of vehicles and so much more! Table puzzles are also available for students. The puzzles have ranged from 200-1000 pieces- teamwork and strategy are a must! Not only do the children have fun at Lego and Puzzle Club, but they also develop mathematical reasoning skills through this form of play. It's a win-win!
 

Science Explorers

Science Explorers is an after-school STEM club that makes science cool and exciting with an interactive, hands-on format. Club topics throughout the school year include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, and Physiology.  Every Science Explorer takes home their weekly creation.

Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry is a club offered to students in grades 5-8. Students interested in Youth Ministry meet at lunch and recess time at least once a month to plan and carry out a variety of service projects to benefit our community, both locally and globally. Every year the service projects may vary, with a few annual events such as Stockings for Soldiers and a Winter Coat Drive. This is a great club for students looking to get involved, make new friends, and live the faith.

STREAM Program

In our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)  class, the students solve problems, use inquiry skills, think critically, and collaborate.    They also incorporate learning from Math and Science class.  There is a strong emphasis on technology and the Engineering Design Process.  Our students use perseverance and creativity to solve problems.  They are encouraged to respect each other and work together.  Most of the STEM projects are done as a group.  We also enter STEM competitions. The students do not receive a grade for the class.  They volunteer for the class for their own enrichment.  Grade 5 STEM meets once a week and Grades 6-8 meets twice a week during Academic Recovery.
